Program Description

Event Details

Book Exhibit  on Herstory 1-3, a book series written by Dr. Chang Chen. These books document the 165-year legal struggle of Chinese American women to gain rights and citizenship in the U.S. Her work, including books and bilingual exhibits, highlights landmark court cases and individuals who shaped history. This exhibition is part of celebrating Asian Heritage Month in May. Through this event, we aim to honor minorities whose voices were once silenced, ensuring that their struggles and triumphs continue to inspire future generations while fostering a more inclusive community that embraces and uplifts diverse perspectives. We believe it is important to recognize and celebrate the contributions of the Asian American community, acknowledging that each story and achievement is an essential piece of the larger puzzle that shapes our shared history and collective identity.
