Mary and Kevin McCarthy deliver a captivating memoir with style depth and humor. Join them on a visit to Morocco Africa; a rare perspective from the enlisted ranks into life on a secret military base; their story of starting a marriage, all with the backdrop of the Vietnam War.  Moroccan refreshments will be served.


Presenter bio: Mary Armao McCarthy's essays and poetry have been sprinkled over publications for many years. She is an award-winning writer and past president of the Hudson Valley Writers Guild. She completed her memoir, Our Time in Morocco, after retiring from a career in education and public policy. Kevin McCarthy, her husband and co-author, spent nine years in US Navy. He was a local teacher and high school principal.
