A plant-based plate can be delicious, colorful, and a powerful way to support long-term health. This class invites home cooks of all levels to explore how everyday ingredients like beans, whole grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds can help lower cholesterol, support heart health, and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes and certain cancers while still tasting amazing. Participants learn how to build balanced plant-based meals that provide plenty of protein, fiber, and healthy fats to keep energy steady and support digestion. You will discover simple flavor-building techniques with herbs, spices, and umami-rich ingredients, satisfying mains centered on legumes and seasonal produce. Participants leave with practical recipes, substitution tips for common animal products, and strategies for adding more plant-based meals into busy weeks, making it easier to support overall wellness one meal at a time.
