Protecting your privacy, data, money and identity from fraud.

My name is Frank Risler, and I specialize in digital forensics, open source intelligence (OSINT), data transfer and recovery, and e-discovery. My background includes teaching Forensic Inspection Methods as an adjunct instructor at Siena College and Hudson Valley Community College. I retired from New York State government, where I served as Chief of Investigations and Operations with the NYS Office of the Inspector General.

Previously, I was the Assistant Deputy Inspector General for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, overseeing investigations, computer forensics, and digital evidence. My experience also includes working as a Revenue Crimes Specialist, where I gained extensive experience in securing and analyzing financial and tax records and related business documentation.

I have a proven ability to evaluate white-collar criminal intent in both public and private institutions, employing various investigative techniques including interviews, interrogations, undercover operations, consensual monitoring, surveillance, and evidence analysis to pursue sensitive and complex tax evasion cases.
