Confused by the "weird" botanical names of plants? Are you wondering why they're so important? In this fun presentation, you will learn the parts of a botanical name and how to pronounce them, as well as why it is much better to use a botanical name rather than the common or vernacular name.  Presented by Martie Teumim of Wild Ones Capital Region NY. Wild Ones is a national nonprofit with local chapters to improve the environment by connecting people and native plants for a healthy planet.
