Learn to Illustrate with Graphite Pencils

In this class students will be introduced to the medium of Graphite Pencils. They will learn the grades of these wood-encased pencils and how to use them by practicing various techniques to create a simple leaf. Beginners to Intermediate.

Nancy Lyons is a retired educator and a lifelong artist who loves to teach and share her art with others. Her preferred mediums are pastel, colored pencils, graphite pencils and watercolor. Nancy teaches art classes throughout the Capital District. She is a member of the Colonie Art League and Adirondack Pastel Society, and has received various awards in juried shows.
