Event Details

Everyone loves tomatoes presents information on the different types of tomatoes, options on planting, basic tomato plant care, how to harvest and preserve your crop. The presentation also provides some insight into the pests and diseases that threaten your to-mato crop.

 

JOHN MARTIN

After settling in with retirement, John decided to find a way to give back to the community. In 2018, John completed the Master Gardener training and started volunteering. He has been gardening, growing flowers, herbs, and vegetables over the last 35 years and through trial and error has found what works for him. John merged his experiences with research-based gardening practices to develop presentations. He enjoys helping communities and individuals learn to garden and take care of the environment
