Sit with therapy dog Karly for a few minutes and read to her! She is a mini goldendoodle and a very good listener.
The Read to Therapy Dog Program is an innovative and heartwarming initiative aimed at improving literacy skills among children. This program allows young readers to practice their reading in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment with the presence of a friendly therapy dog. It combines the love for animals with the joy of reading, creating a unique learning experience. For children ages 6-11 years old.

Accompanying Adults
This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop-offs will not be permitted. Children under age 8 should be accompanied by an adult in the library at all times.
