Ann Lee: One Woman's Revolution follows the life of Ann Lee, the radical charismatic leader and messiah of the Shakers. The presentation gives special attention to the years that she spent right here in Colonie, during the American Revolution. The spiritual revolution that she was waging mirrors the American Revolution in many fascinating and enlightening ways.

Presenter bio: Theresa Frey-Alexander is the Education Coordinator at Shaker Heritage Society. She curates interactive educational experiences and exhibits for visitors, and centers her research and interpretation around Ann Lee.
