Our Social Work Intern is here to help you navigate a comprehensive resource guide designed to assist with everything from housing and employment to government forms, food insecurity, mental health, and so much more!

The Colonie Library is partnering with “Inclusible” (Inclusible means suitable for inclusion) to host a series of game events for adults of all ages and abilities. Come play with friends (new and old) or be a partner to someone who needs support.

A special storytime for babies that are not yet walking and their caregivers. This fun 15-20 minute program includes songs, fingerplays, lap bounces, and books.

This is an opportunity to recharge your writing, and spark your creativity. A space to write without distractions. Whether you are writing memoirs, short fiction, poetry, or just going wherever your imagination and interests lead!

Let's take our hats off to Dr. Seuss and celebrate the joy of reading! You'll find Seussian games, crafts, books, photo ops, and all sorts of fun activities throughout the day in the Children's area.

This is a 6-hour course with a 3-hour session on two days. You MUST attend both sessions to receive a course completion certificate. Bring your NYS Driver License and AARP membership card. Fee is $25 for AARP members and $30 for non-members.

An Afternoon Art workshop where each week we will be making a different art project!  Come use your imagination and get creative! Wear clothing that can get messy.

Join this dynamic group of teens who meet monthly to brainstorm future programs and how to best help the library and the community. Earn volunteer hours and leadership experience while having fun. 

Join me in art therapy of learning to use resin along with other materials. Create your own beautiful resin flowers that you can have all year long.
