Film expert and Menands Public Library Director Lenny Zapala is offering the second of a five-installment series with the movie Mildred Pierce.  Mildred Pierce (Joan Crawford) is a single mom doing the best she can.  Crawford gets the Oscar.  Career is reborn.  A Noir masterpiece.  The movie is directed by Michael Curtiz.  Don’t forget Lenny’s introduction and comments after the films!
