Film expert and Menands Public Library Director Lenny Zapala is offering the fourth of a five-installment series with the movie Bonnie & Clyde.  One of the most honored and despised films of the 1960's.  The film announced the end of the old Hollywood system.  At the time of release, the New York Times called it "cheap" and hideous."  In 1992, the Library of Congress called it "culturally, historically and aesthetically significant."  Bonnie (Faye Dunaway) and Clyde (Warren Beatty) love to rob banks.  The movie is directed by Arthur Penn.  Don’t forget Lenny’s introduction and comments after the films!
