Come to the library to play Mahjong with new and old friends! If you already know how to play, sign up and join a group for a game or two.

This is a 6-hour course with a 3-hour session on two days. You MUST attend both sessions to receive a course completion certificate. Bring your NYS Driver License and AARP membership card. Fee is $25 for AARP members and $30 for non-members.

Join us as we gather with other French speakers for conversation, fun, and camaraderie. You must have a moderate level of proficiency in French conversation to join this group.

This is an opportunity to recharge your writing, and spark your creativity. A space to write without distractions. Whether you are writing memoirs, short fiction, poetry, or just going wherever your imagination and interests lead!

 The presentation will outline the role of Albany, New York during the American Revolution. The Albany Committee of Safety will be discussed and the fact that an original unit of the Continental Army was formed in Albany during 1775.

In conjunction with our library's fiftieth anniversary this year, we are hosting a series of book discussions of books that were published in 1976.
