Celebrate the library's 50th birthday by playing games that were popular when the library opened in the 1970s! For grades 6 to 8.

Come enjoy an afternoon creating original paper collages inspired by the beauty of birds. Design fantasy bird portraits by simply cutting and gluing decorative papers to create your unique artworks.

Mark presents cowboy poetry, a traditional, narrative form of verse originating from American cowboy life, telling stories of the Western lifestyle and cowboy culture.

Dice rolling plays an important role in games of chance & choice. But why roll dice with your hands when you can make and use your very own dice tower?! Dice towers are great ways to ensure controlled and fair rolls of the dice.

While Velociraptors are prehistoric, the word "raptor" also refers to modern birds of prey (eagles, hawks, owls and falcons). These groups share hunting behaviors and traits like talons, carnivorous diets, and even feathers!

Each week we will be exploring a different dinosaur themed activity.  

In conjunction with our library's fiftieth anniversary this year, we are hosting a series of book discussions of books that were published in 1976.

Create your own fossil rock with dinosaur keychain. We will be using various material including resin.
