Barbara Stanwyck Film Series Led by Lenny Zapala - The Two Mrs. Carrolls (1947)

Film expert and Menands Public Library Director Lenny Zapala is offering the first of a six-installment series with the movie The Two Mrs. Carrolls.  Sally (Ms. Stanwyck) has an affair with painter Geoffrey Carroll (Bogart).  Geoffrey admits he is married.  He claims his wife is an invalid.  Sally ends the affair.  Years later they meet again.  Geoffrey's wife is dead, they fall in love again and marry.  Sally finds out that Geoffrey is having an affair and fears there will be a third Mrs. Carroll.  With Alexis Smith and Nigel Bruce.  The movie is directed by Peter Godfrey.
