Barbara Stanwyck Film Series Led by Lenny Zapala - The Furies (1950)

Film expert and Menands Public Library Director Lenny Zapala is offering the fifth of a six-installment series with the movie The Furies.  T.C. Jeffords (Walter Huston) is a tyrannical cattle baron.  His only heir is his daugter Vance (Ms. Stanwyck).  TC marries a woman who wants all TC has and nothing to Vance.  This King Lear-inspired western tragedy is set in motion.  with Judith Anderson, Gilbert Roland and Wendell Corey.  The movie is directed by Anthony Mann.  Don’t forget Lenny’s introduction and comments after the films!
