Film expert and Menands Public Library Director Lenny Zapala is offering the last of a six-installment series with the movie Clash by Night.  Mae Doyle (Ms. Stanwyck) comes home from being on the road for ten years.  She needs a rest.  Loveable lout Jerry D'Amato is in love with her, but the man she hates, Earl Pfeiffer (Robert Ryan) is the man she wants.  Classic noir problem.  With Marilyn Monroe.  The movie is directed by Fritz Lang.  Don’t forget Lenny’s introduction and comments after the films!
