Film expert and Menands Public Library Director Lenny Zapala is offering the first of a five-installment series with the movie Leave Her to Heaven.  Novelist Richard Harland (Cornel Wilde) and socialite Ellen Berent (Gene Tierney) meet on a train to New Mexico.  Ellen comments how much Richard looks like her dead father.  Fate steps in when they discover they are going to the same place.  While there she makes Richard marry her and she will do anything to keep him.  The movie is directed by John M Stahl.  Don’t forget Lenny’s introduction and comments after the films!
