Learn the basics of Java in this 5-day, teen-led workshop! 

For teens entering grades 6 to 8 in the fall. Registration required. Registration is for all 5 sessions, August 4 to August 8. Please plan on attending all 5 sessions.

Each week we will be exploring science while creating art!  Wear clothing that can get messy!

Boxes can be so much fun and we have boxes galore! Build a tower, make a fort, or crawl through a tunnel. If you'd like to also bring boxes from home to build with, please feel free.

Calling all 3rd-5th graders for a reading adventure at the Metropolitan Museum of Art!  Over three weeks we will be reading through the book "From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" by E.L. Konigsburg.

Shop the Farmers Market, and stop for stories! Join us at the Crossings Park once a month, rain or shine. On sunny days we'll be under the gazebo by the pond.

Learn to use equipment in our Maker Lab to convert video, slides, negatives, and photos to digital formats. 

Covered in this class: slide/negative scanner, photo scanner, DVD duplicator, and VHS converter.

How can scientists find out what distant stars and planets are made of when they’re millions of miles away? The light that shines back to us on Earth can tell us all sorts of things about them.

Bring a blanket and join us on the back lawn! Held inside if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Join artist Criss Macaione-Bilodeau, from the Colonie Art League, and learn how to combine cast-off items, the Japanese art of Origami, paint, and your imagination to create beautiful gift/trinket boxes. No experience necessary.
