Humphrey Bogart Film Series led by Lenny Zapala - In a Lonely Place (1950)

Film expert and Menands Public Library Director Lenny Zapala is offering the last of a five-installment series with the movie In a Lonely Place. Film writer Dix Steel (Bogart) hasn't written a hit film in years.  The frustration and pain of failure has led to outbursts of extreme violence.  He becomes a murder suspect.  Girlfriend Laurel Gray (Gloria Graham) tries comforting Dix.  The movie is directed by Nicholas Ray.
