Mrs Growney’s ever-popular program for 5th - 8th grade girls and their moms returns for the Fall and continues through the Spring!  When you register, you will be signed up for the entire session, which runs once a month through May 2026.

This is an opportunity to recharge your writing, and spark your creativity. A space to write without distractions. Whether you are writing memoirs, short fiction, poetry, or just going wherever your imagination and interests lead!

Book Exhibit  on Herstory 1-3, a book series written by Dr. Chang Chen. These books document the 165-year legal struggle of Chinese American women to gain rights and citizenship in the U.S.

 The presentation will outline the role of Albany, New York during the American Revolution. The Albany Committee of Safety will be discussed and the fact that an original unit of the Continental Army was formed in Albany during 1775.

In conjunction with our library's fiftieth anniversary this year, we are hosting a series of book discussions of books that were published in 1976.
